You can download all the information and participant waivers by clicking the "More Information" link. Everyone coming to the Fishing Derby (including adults) must have the signed waiver.

Register here for the Fishing Derby. This fun event is for Scouts and their adult partners (youth under 13 must have an adult with them) and a great opportunity to learn about fishing. The Scout(s) can bring one friend who is not in Scouting for free. Plus, if the Scout brings a friend, the Scout is no charge as well. While siblings may attend with their family, this offer is only for Scouts who bring a friend.

The derby itself runs from 11:00-1:00. There is a BBQ lunch afterwards with prizes from 1:00-1:30. Also, if you want, there is bait, rigging, and knot instruction from 9:30-10:45 a.m. for those interested.

Thanks to the continued support of the Marin Rod & Gun Club at Point San Quentin for allowing us to use their pier and picnic ground.
